From Newcomers

When I decided to go to Bath I wasn't sure about what to expect from a workshop. So I decided to just go there and see how things turn out to be. And from the first moment I arrived in Bath I somehow knew and felt I was just in the right place. During the workshop we as newcomers got special attention, which I definitely enjoyed. I really felt well looked after. We got so many occasions where we could ask questions, complain if the passes where too difficult or too fast or simply give a feedback if everything was ok. I'd like to thank you for that!

Emotionally I felt a bit ambivalent. Sometimes I was one with everyone and everything around me but sometimes I thought something pulled out the rug from under me. Things of which I thought were stable turned out not to be. I decided to just let go when these feelings came upon me. That helped a lot.

The passes that we learned had a great effect on me as well. After we did 'on the run' for the first time as a long form one of my dreams that I had collected before came up into my thoughts so intensely there was no question that this really is the most important dream for me in my life. At the same time I found myself surprised that it had nothing to do with my program of study at university that I'm currently doing or the kind of job I might want to have afterwards. Subjects on which I normally spend a good amount of time per day because people had always taught me that education, work and success are the most important things in life. But at that moment I just felt yes, that's what I want. That is my dream. And the more we practiced the new passes and did the stalking exercises the more I knew it is possible to reach it! My excuses and worries simply vanished!

On my way home I felt completely exhausted at first but now I can sense a new type of energy around me especially around my feet and my womb and I feel energy circling in my body! In some ways I perceive the world a bit differently from before. I'm just talking about very slight changes but nevertheless I can recognize them and this is fascinating!

Now I want to practice the new passes every day to remind myself on my dream and that it is possible. I want to continue to collect yes-moments all of our lives are full of to gather energy from them. I feel my inner dialogue has shut down a bit. And I want to keep that by reminding myself on breathing.

Nyei Murez said at the end of the workshop that this was our initiation into Tensegrity and I do know that now I am, too, part of this community. Thank you so much for guiding me into my dreams. I will follow my heart!

I enjoyed the workshop - my first one - immensely! The movements and the people and the dreaming! I remember quite a few movements and I continue to practice them. I look forward to participating in another workshop in the future!

With gratitude!

What a pleasure being with all of you at the workshop! It was great to enhance our positive feeling of YES!, both in terms of coordinating with each other in our common movements, but also in terms of our inner thoughts and dreams.

A huge thank you to: the organising team for the excellent event; the trainers who not only showed the magical passes but also opened their hearts to all during the stalking exercises; the more experienced practitioners who helped the newcomers and of course, everyone else who created such special moments of kinaesthetic experiences.

As a newcomer, I felt there was an easiness to integrate with you all despite our country differences. And there was a conscious encouragement by all trainers to make us feel “at home”. The content of the course covered several layers, namely: - movements accompanied with breathing and self-awareness; - stalking exercises focusing on personal experiences and dreams, sharing them with a witness; - group exercises that formed mass kinaesthetic waves; - lecture private stories from trainers and more experienced practitioners.

The kinaesthetic feeling was amazing, both at a personal and a group level. Chest out, shoulders down, firm footing, movement from the belly! The serpent movements were great, which helped me feeling fluid and in a dreaming state. Although I could not recall several movements subsequently, over time some of them are coming back, especially the simper ones… I hope I can participate now in a practising group to elaborate further my induction!

Highly recommended to all without judgement and willingness to work for their well-being!
