"The first part of the dreaming lesson in question is that maleness and femaleness are not final states but are the result of a specific act of positioning the assemblage point. And this act is, naturally, a matter of volition.” - Don Juan Matus to Carlos Castaneda -The Art of Dreaming
Thus from a physiological point of view, we all have ‘maleness’ and ‘femaleness’ inside; yet shaman-seers suggest we have a third option as well – an underlying energetic essence through which both ‘male’ and ‘femaleness’ can, as an act of volition, be creatively expressed. * * *
In this one-day Tensegrity event, participants will be guided to get in touch with first their same gender internal expression, then their opposite, then something far beyond yet encompassing both, all for the purpose of stepping into the localization and utilization of this, their creative energy. Magical passes, recapitulation or the reviewing of one’s life
experiences, and ‘sounding’ and vocalizing exercises will
be part of this unique event. All to culminate
in a 'dreaming' practice, whereby each participant, freer from the
ties of their personal socialization, dreams themselves creating and
following their own dream. * * *
This one-day workshop is taught by a new generation of Tensegrity Instructors – students of the students of Carlos Castaneda, Florinda Donner-Grau, Taisha Abelar and Carol Tiggs. Open to all: newcomers and seasoned practitioners!

Tensegrity is the modern practice of the warrior-traveler’s
path with heart which don Juan Matus taught his four students: Carlos
Castaneda, Florinda Donner-Grau, Taisha Abelar and Carol Tiggs. The
word ‘tensegrity’ was coined by an architect, scientist, engineer, global
thinker and dreamer whom Carlos Castaneda admired: R. Buckminster Fuller.
Fuller described tensegrity as a process of tensional integrity—the
inherent interdependence of structures such as cells, bodies, and solar
systems which are held together by a continuous web of tension (such
as gravity) holding together discontinuous islands of compression (such
as the sun, planets and moons in the solar system). |
