The seers of ancient Mexico believed that our body, mind, and emotions, as well as our ability to connect with Spirit, form a composite interconnected web, described in modern times as a living Tensegrity structure within ourselves.

In this workshop, to take place in the legendary Triana neighborhood of Seville, a near-island between two branches of the Guadalquivir River, and the traditional heart of flamenco, we will explore the intimate link between the flow of our feelings, and our physical and energetic well-being.

Together we will practice specific self-inquiry exercises to bring our awareness to the emotional tides of our days and lives, as well as magical passes to regenerate our natural flow of energy and feeling, as well as our ancient link to the cycles of the moon and stars, and we will celebrate with the magical passes of theater, dance and song.

We will call on the duende, our mysterious, creative, and passionately alive essence that evokes what the seers of don Juan’s line called the dreaming body, or the energy body.

This workshop will be given in English with translation into Spanish; translation into other languages available depending upon number of practitioners requesting them.

Workshop Cancellation Policy:
Before the start of the event: Refunds or credits will be available less a $50 administration fee. After the start of event, no refunds or credits available. Exception: Anyone attending a Cleargreen-sponsored event for the first time may receive a refund, less a $50 administration fee if they notify the registration supervisor in person during or immediately after the first session of the workshop. No refunds are available thereafter.

Tensegrity® practice is the modern expression of the warrior-traveler's way of being which don Juan Matus taught his four students: Carlos Castaneda, Florinda Donner-Grau, Taisha Abelar and Carol Tiggs. Don Juan was a Yaqui Indian seer and heir to a lineage of men and women seers that originated in ancient Mexico.

The word 'tensegrity' was coined by an architect, scientist, engineer, global thinker and dreamer whom Carlos Castaneda admired: R. Buckminster Fuller. Fuller described tensegrity as a process of tensional integrity - the inherent interdependence of structures such as cells, bodies, and solar systems which are held together by a continuous web of tension (such as gravity) holding together discontinuous islands of compression (such as the sun, planets and moons in the solar system).

As a modern expression of shamanism, Tensegrity® practice means adapting to our own energy, the energy of sun and stars, the air, water, the land, and of its inhabitants in a way that supports the interdependent integrity of the community that we are, as individual and collective beings. The tools that can help us to do this include the ancient energy-enhancing movements and breaths known as Magical Passes® movements, as well as tracking and dreaming exercises, all of which we will do in this workshop.

Tracking exercises are: guided self-examination exercises practiced individually and with a peer witness, which allow one to track and free ourselves from unconscious physical, mental and emotional patterns and judgments.

One can direct the energy and awareness gained from this review to access what don Juan Matus called freedom of perception - the freedom to move past any limiting interpretations inherited from one's lineage, upbringing and culture to access the very best of that inheritance, and to perceive energy directly, and dream true interdependence - new possibilities of working with other beings - wherever we are, possibilities which spring from an open heart, from bringing one's best to the interchange.
